The Bourgogne Tribal Show is an international tribal art fair that has the particularity of being held in the countryside. In 2017, we reworked their graphic identity, trying to retain its essence - notably the image of a cow with which the public associated the fair - while allowing it to adapt to any medium. The central element is an "o" or zero with a vertical bar through it, with or without horns, both a muzzle and a hoof print.
For the 2018 catalog, we drew inspiration from French and German ethnographic magazines of the 1930s, and more specifically from Documents (Georges Henri Rivière, Georges Bataille and Carl Einstein).
The photographs of the objects offered for sale by the Bourgogne Tribal Show dealers were reworked to emulate the style of the 1930s. They were presented as detachable postcards, inserted in the publication.
